With a stroke of luck we happened to walk into the office of Elimar Properties. We knew we were in love with Playa. We knew we were most interested in the North end of town. We had stopped into several other real estate offices and no one took us by the hand and showed us the right road to travel. My memories of Playa are filled by all the wonderful Europeans that have developed a vast variety of restaurants, shops and coffee houses all along 5a Avenida. All the hustle and bustle makes for great people watching and it doesn't feel like your in the typical Mexican resort town. Playa was such a welcomed surprise for many reasons. First it's smaller and much more quaint then Cancun, with more character and charm. Secondly, it's closer to both Tulum and Chichen-itza to see the marvels of the great Mayan Dynasties. And lastly, you don't have to deal with all the high schooler's or college kids that are on their school breaks because they are all in Cancun! Love Playa!

I felt reluctant (to sell) but I received an offer I could not turn down, so I asked Elimar Properties to find another buyer for my second apartment. In a matter of days they came up with another great deal: after 3 years I had sold both apartments a very large margin over their original price!!!! During the selling process I was tripled checked by one of Elimar ´s lawyers, reviewing each title deed, and looking for possible claims or loans against the properties. I cannot blame her, this is precisely what I am expecting from her before reinvesting the equity gained through Elimar, I mean: A real state investment does not have to be risky right?

I remember a few years ago when I first bought my house in Playa Paraiso, how beautiful the Caribean was to look at as I walked on my daily trek from Playa Paraiso to Punta Maroma and back. The magical Caribean and the white sandy beaches like Punta Maroma (voted best beach in the world) would never get boring, even after walking all winter long. The Mayan Riviara is truly a world class enviroment.
